Current Mood Inspiration with Anne/aka Oldenmeade

Hi everyone! Anne here with a page I made using the Current Mood collection from NBK Design at The Lilypad.

Nicole has added a new feature for customer convenience. You can now scroll down to the bottom of the page when you order, and choose the individual packs from the dropdown menu.

I had a blast making this page, following the techniques Nicole introduced us to in her video on Intuitive Painting. The first step was to trace the outline of the cat, using a brush from the Painttools. I wanted each stripe to have a different style, so I made sure that each one was on a different layer from the cat outline. Using various brushes, I filled in the cat’s body, and then applied Fineart and Crackled Color styles to them. To make the body outline more doodly, I added several Loops, masking out the parts that were not needed. Emoticon Flairs, Word Arts, and a Doodled Border with a style, provided the finishing touches.

I received the products in this layout free of charge, as part of my creative teamwork for the designer.
