Inspiration by Anne / November 2015 Collection
Hi everyone! Anne here with a page I made using the Nov 2015 Collection from NBK Design which has just been re-released at The Lilypad.
The moment I saw Mixed Media paper 04 I knew that I had to create something with it. The texture is so rich and thick, I wanted to reach out and run my fingers through it. I love the gentle curves and the way the light plays on the paper. So off I went to find a suitable photo.
What I ended up with is this lovely picture of a woman and child sleeping. I really liked the way the child’s hair lay in soft folds, echoing the curves on the paper. Flowing sweeps of birds and sequins, plus a wave of word art completed the page.
