On The Bright Side Inspiration with Anne/aka Oldenmeade

Hi everyone! Anne here with a page I made using On The Bright Side collection, which NBK Design re-released at The Lilypad this week.

I wasn’t intending to make a layout when I started this. I was just trying out the ABP, Styles and Urban Masks, and fiddling around with various blend modes to see what would happen. I went off to make a cup of tea, and then came back to my computer and thought “Oooooh, I quite like that!” Next came some Drips and Doodles. Then to find a photo……but it had to be something that wouldn’t detract from all Nicole’s beautiful artwork in the background. A black and white photo with a color burn blend mode applied, meant I ended up with just the branch (top left) and the man with the umbrella. Perfect! A word art completed the picture.
