Opposites Attract Inspiration with Anne/aka Oldenmeade

Hi everyone! Anne here with a page I made using the Opposites Attract collection from NBK Design at The Lilypad.

In this layout I tried to focus on bringing in lots of contrasts. I started off with the idea of a classical cellist and a rock guitarist, but couldn’t find a suitable legal photo for a cellist. So I substitued the ballerina. Since she was wearing a classic white tutu, I desaturated the guitarist photo to make it darker and more monochromatic. Another contrast which came into play was the soft lyrical lines of the ballerina and scribbles, compared to the sharp angles of the page frames.

This was such an incredible collection to work with. Just sitting here writing about it makes me want to rush back and do another layout. I’m truly addicted to Nicole’s art, and I suspect I’m not the only one!
