Selfcare – Inspiration by Cindy

Hi! I’m Cindy, and I want to share with you a page I made using Selfcare Collection by NBK-Design, that has just been released at The Lilypad.

I started this layout with a template from Fiddle Dee Dee, who also sells at The Lilypad. It’s really easy to make an artsy page even when you use a traditional digital scrapbooking template. For this page, I applied styles to the layers, such as the paper pieces and the numbers. And here is a useful tip: if the layer has already a style, like a shadow or a stroke, and you want to keep that too, just hold down the Shift key when you apply the new style, and it will “layer” the layer styles, instead of overwriting them. At the places where the template had flowers or other elements, I added some Artsy Bits and Pieces and Sprinkles.
