More Opposites Attract Inspiration with Anne/aka Oldenmeade

Hi everyone! Anne here with another page I made using the incredible Opposites Attract collection from NBK Design at The Lilypad.

Drips are some of my favourite elements and I was delighted to see them turn up in this collection. So that’s what I started with, and then fiddled around with making the clusters. Originally I intended them to be whimsical flowers, but hubby said they reminded him of space men, and Nicoled said they looked like dreamcatchers. So they can be whatever you want them to be 🙂 . At this stage I had a page without focus, and no idea where the layout was going. So I searched through the word arts for inspiration. I really liked the look of the ‘girl’ word art, and since I had a girl-sized blank area on my page, that’s what I went with. The posterize filter in photoshop gave her a nice artsy look, and I was very pleased to be able to place the word art so that it looked like it was printed on her t-shirt. Mission accomplished!
