Keeping Memories of Grandpa Alive

Good morning everyone! Kari here. I’ve been missing my grandfather something horrible the last few weeks. He has been gone a year now and not a day goes by where I don’t miss talking with him This is a favorite photo of him and my son Kai when he was little. I came across it on my computer while looking for the perfect older photos to scrap. Grandpa really enjoyed being a grandfather and great grandpa. The kids were the light of his life and they all have so many blessed memories. We were lucky growing up so close to them. When I was young I spent every weekend at their house which is only about 15 to 20 mins away from my own.

This weeks SOSN was the perfect kit to scrap this rememberable photo of my grandfather. I started my layout as a scraplift for the scraplift challenge. And while it looks not much like the original artists page, I am happy with the outcome. I believe it lets the love between my grandfather and my son shine.

This week’s Art Crush is the very first Art Crush done by Nicole and it is a true winner. Like her other collections this one is full of goodies to help make your memories shine. My favorites are the photo masks and fun brushes this kit holds. Of course no one can go wrong with the beautiful elements as well.
